“From my own, personal journey I know that acne affects more than just the skin. It takes a toll on daily life, self esteem, and can lead to spiralling anxiety. It’s a journey that I don’t want anyone to go through alone. I founded CKIN to help us bring ‘care’ back into our skin care routine. To help us look at ourselves and our skin differently. To stop criticizing and start caring for ourselves instead.”
Mission
We are on a mission to change the way we see our skin. We believe in gentle yet effective skin care solutions, and we also believe in the tremendous effect that self-care and positive daily habits have on the healing journey of our skin, and mind. We want to put ‘care’ back into the skin care routine and help people embrace Skinfulness.
Vision
Our vision is to build a strong #CKINship community —a safe space where we will help each other to practice self-care and self-acceptance and let go of perfectionism and self-criticism.
We believe that together we feel less alone and more empowered to tackle our acne journeys and find calm, peace and self-love on the way.
We want to ensure that this is a community for the many, where knowledge on skin health and holistic practices are made easily accessible and where we share our journeys with each other.

At CKIN, all our products are designed with care - for the health of or skin and our planet.
For the health of our skin
All our formulas are consciously formulated without any fragrance, colorants, alcohol, mineral oils or any other unnecessary additives - carefully and perfectly catering for acne-prone skin.
Being obsessed about skin health, we also take a very conscious approach to preservatives. We carefully select preservatives and inclusion levels, and we invest into protective packaging. This to protect the formula from microbial contamination, without disrupting the balance of our skin microbiome, which can trigger skin sensitivity and acne.
For the health of our planet
CKIN should be about giving us peace of mind - knowing that we make a positive choice for our skin, but also for the planet. All our products are vegan, never tested on animals and our ingredients are responsibly sourced. When it comes to packaging, we always strive to minimize waste, by removing for example plastic foils and unnecessary layers. We are also on a mission to help our community reuse, refill and recycle our packaging.
Our perspective on natural skincare
You will probably never see us offering 100% natural products. Instead, we focus on choosing the best ingredients - for our skin and the planet - whether they are natural or lab-grown (synthetic). As simple as that!
